The T30 can be found in the armored battalions' and armored rifle battalions' assault gun platoons, as well as the infantry regiments' cannon company. Assault guns are very versatile. As well as direct fire support and long-range artillery, they can also be useful for anti-tank fire, but only as a last resort.
Making its combat debut during the campaign in North Africa during 1942, the T30 75mm HMC later fought in Sicily in 1942 and on to Italy in 1944. untill it was slowly replaced by the M8 Scott HMC
